2024 Fall Kid's Clinics, Ages 4 - 12

Unless noted, Kid's Clinics will be held at Topspin Tennis Academy's, Meadowbrook School location. Topspin is one of the only, if not the only club in the region with 2 courts specifically designed for Kid's 8 and under tennis. This provides a great learning atmosphere for younger children. Our regulation courts also have lines for 60' play geared directly to players ages 8 - 10.

Weekday Clinics are scheduled for 10 or 11 sessions starting Sep 3 and wrapping up Nov 14. (Mondays will have 10 because of Labor Day and Thursdays will have 10 because of Halloween.)

Rain Makeups - After the first rain out we will hold rain makeups. We will hold makeups on 11/18, 19, 20, 21. While we will try to hold rain makeups the same day and time as the clinic, rain makeups may take place at different days and times that week for sessions that need to be made up.

Costume Clinics

Oct 24, 28, 29, 30. Players are encouraged to come to clinics in costume (that they can play in) to compete for Special Prizes.

Tournament Week

Nov 4 - 7 - Tournament Week. Fall Session registrations include a fun season ending round robin tournament for ages 6 and up. The tournament week may have your child participating at times outside of their regularly scheduled times. Participation is not required but highly encouraged. Participants will need to sign up for the tournament in advance and again (may be scheduled at a time to play outside of their regularly scheduled time.)

Prize Week

Nov 11 - 14 - Prize Week. Our last week of clinics will be prize week generally at the regular clinic times. Players won't want to miss it.

Rain makeups

We will not run rain makeups on Fridays. We will utilize the week of 11/18 for rain makeups. Topspin does not make up the first rain out of a clinic. If weather plays an issue for multiple sessions, we will have rain makeups on 11/18, 19, 20, 21 if necessary, for additional weather-related issues, or other cancelations due to instructor illnesses, unexpected site conflicts, etc.

Absences

Absences for illness or other personal conflicts are not able to be made up, we apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

These clinics are designed for ages 4 - 12. No previous experience is required for most clinics. Some clinics geared toward more advanced players ages 8 - 10 may be by invitation only.

Ages 6 - 8, Red Ball, Court Size 36' o

Ages 8 - 10, Orange Ball, Court Size 60'

Ages 10 - 12, Green Dot or Regulation Ball, Court Size 78' (Designed for newer players, not intended for player's who are involved in Varsity Bound Clinics above Level 1.)
