2025 Varsity Bound Summer Camp (Ages 11 - 18)

Topspin Varsity Bound Camps

Camps are designed for ages 11-18 who are looking to play in Middle School, High School, and College. Camps are a high energy, fun, competitive environment looking to improve stroke development, technique, match play, tactics, and focus.

Camps run for 10 weeks from June 16 - Aug 22. (We will hold camp the week ending July 4th, but will not hold camp on July 4th and will do makeups another day if necessary)

Camps run Mon - Thu with rain makeups generally held on Friday of the same week (except July 4th).

Half Day Morning - 9 a - 12 p, @ Meadowbrook School, Abington, PA

Half Day Afternoon - 12:45 - 3:45 p @ Fort Washington Swim & Tennis, (The Fort) Ambler, PA (There may be times we stay at Meadowbrook or go to a clay court site in the afternoon.)

Full Day - 9 a - 3:45 p @ Meadowbrook School and Fort Washington Swim & Tennis (Transportation will be provided to move campers between locations)

Morning - will be a bit more instructional with stroke development and game strategy focused. Players of various levels can participate, and we will match players according to their skill level. We have additional courts available less than 5 minutes from our location if we need to make use of them to spread players out. Topspin will provide transportation to and from the other courts if necessary.

Afternoon - will be more match play focused along with instructional elements. We will make use of the multiple courts at The Fort, to allow players to spread out and play singles and doubles. On hot days we will also be able to take advantage of the pool to cool off. Players participating in afternoon sessions should have a grasp of basic tennis skills, like the serve.

Full Day Discount - You will notice full day camp is cheaper and multiple weeks of full day camp even more so. Topspin's founder has a child playing college tennis and another who played four years at the college level. Their games were molded and transformed on the courts during the summers in these camps. There is no better time to invest in your child's game than in the summer. We believe so strongly in encouraging your child's development of both stroke development and match play we want to make it easier to say yes to full day camp.

Camps are held outdoors. Camp schedule may be altered to deal with issues surrounding rain or excessive heat.

For example, on days predicting temperatures going into the high 90's we will start 30 to 60 minutes earlier, to help with the heat of the day.
